Do you...
Do you pirate movies? Come on, be honest. Me? All the time. I use torrent and also mIRC to get my movies. I also download full music artist albums. I only buy from artists that I feel put effort into their work. I've gotten every Linkin Park CD that has came out, except for the one they did with Jay Z.

I copy movies that I own for other family members and have copied some that I've rented, but can't find in Walmart to buy. I generally buy my movies and music, but then make backups and share those.

Newsgroups no doubt...If it is good, I will go and buy it or rent it...I also go and see a fair share of movies in theaters...I've tried to use mIRC, but couldn't work it down properly...I think I tried to use an invision version of IRC, or something like that, but haven't bothered to use it again...

As you may recall, my family has a long heritage of boot-legging and piracy,
and you may also notice I do love my heritage so much it is a topic of common conversation.
On the other hand, I supply the regulatory functions for the energy grid that keeps the lights on and cameras rolling in Hollywood. It ain't like I get a penny from those companies for keeping their power coming.
And not even Hova would have a live mic if I quit my job. You wanna watch Game freestyle by candlelight? So, way I figure it, we in this together. They got the better part of the deal.
Of course, if they want to intemize my cut for power reliability, per Independent Standard System Operator terms, I'd be cool with an even .5% - though I am actually entitled to .825%. So, why do we do it this way, and not take that green cut. Simple, we are not greedy, and drop that money back in the common pocket. All we keep is the stock dividends we play and the generation and physical revenue. This is not about personal gain, its about economic sovereignty to allow for energy environment regulation and market stability.
If I made more money, I would have more of an entertainment budget. As it is, I gotta find cash to go out with my girl tonight cause rent is due Friday at the latest. The entertainment industry is one of the reasons I sacrifice so much of my life to working 10-15 hour days. I love the creativity of the human spirit, and believe all resources to this end are well spent. This will pay off for me in a bit, but for now, I make rent just in time to avoid late fees. The only way I can get through these harsh days is if I got some jams to plug in my ears, and so flicks to scope every now and then.

I have three or four movies from Limewire (think Finding Nemo- not porn, lol) and then I've downloaded like eight or nine hundred songs from it. I'm far too cheap to actually invest in cd's, which are a bit cumbersome now because I have an iPod. But the downside to downloading movies is that I'm limited to what's there since I don't know how to download from any other programs or websites.

I hate the word "pirate". I "download" songs all the time but never full cd's. If I'm want a whole cd I'll go buy it. But I download individual songs all the time. I've never downloaded movies before. They usually take too long on Limewire and I don't know of any other place where it could be faster
