So...

I"m sure that at least some of us have smoked a little weed before...I know I have...Every now and then though, I never could chief daily...I gave up smoking all together over a year ago...Have you tried it..? Would you try it..? Do you think that it should be legal or not..?

I'm not sure how true it is, but I read that in denver it is legal to carry 1 ounce of weed on you legally if you are over the age of 21...I'm working a credible source, but in the meantime, your thoughts..?

I've never smoked weed and I never will. I don't know how much is legal to have on you in Oregon, but I know we legalize medical marijuana. I just haven't seen the point of smoking

Weed, never smoked it and never will. Its just a way to kill you prematuarely and not a good thing to do to either. Not to mention it affects all those other ppl as well with 2nd hand smoke and all. I have had mates who have smoked weed and i just couldnt stand near them when they did it coz the smoke just made me choke.

Ty, a city ordinance called "Proposed Question 100" was voted into action last month by Denver residents, likely due to lack of opposing parties voting. This does not make it legal. This only shows that the majority of the people who bothered to vote want it legal to be in possession 1 ounce of marijuana or less for personal "non-material" (not for money) use if you are over the age of 18. It is a powerful message about the legalization issue, but not a permission to do it. Of course, being that it is low on the list of local priorities they are less likely to incriminate. Still, a city ordinace allowing it would be defeated in a state court appeal. It is illegal.

Deepak,. marijuana does nothing special to kill you or harm you in any way. If anything it is medicinal. It releases stress associated with long term health problems, it slows cancer cells, it acts as a pain killer, and it is proven to be not be chemically addictive. But, it is medicinal, and in large quantities all the usual restriction with sharp edges and heavy machinary should apply.

You also don't need to smoke it. If I needed to use it, I would just consume it in a larger salad, or cook with it. In fact, one of my favorite writers wrote the first Hemp cookbook in England before this country existed. It is a great herb in moderation with a wonderful taste, by the way, and actually the health benefits are well known. I know because I had a mentor who was terminally asthmatic, and I cooked for him with it, as part of the condition of my stay. Since I cooked with it, I ate it I never felt the need to go overboard, and the psychoactive properties in my experience were moderate and useful but not neccesary to my meditations, and not harmful or some undesirable state in any way. The reason it was prescribed to him is that it acts as a bronchial dilator, and allows more oxygen to be captured through breathing. I didn't eat enough to get "stoned" but used it at least once a day. It also wasn't that mutant shit they grow for the streets. This was organic hydroponic homegrown by the doctor that prescribed it. I believe the way he got away from it is the technicality of species, or something.

I quit smoking tobacco a long time ago, a practice that had its uses. I don't really forsee myself starting to smoke anything, until I am older, and will look really cool with a pipe while I drop the lowdown from the higher-up. 8) I migh could fit a hookah table into my current furniture.

Personally, I know from experience you can get far more tore up on sizzurp, playing Robo-Cop, and that can kill ya, if you overdose. We was all young at some time.,.. I don't see why any naturally growing plant should be controlled. Poisoning yourself by willing over-ingestion of a narcotic or toxic plant or fungus is a method of natural selection, if you ask me. Why aren't poisonous berries growing on playgrounds more of an issue than a plant in the middle of the woods or the garden that you can not eat enough of to kill you?

The reason it is not legal is because there are CERTAIN people who have created a underground economy around it that relies upon its controllled nature. This is a sub-economic system that intesect the govt. on even its highest levels. That is what we call "corruption." This taboo element makes it more valuable, as it must be done in an illusion of subterfuge to maintain that nflated value. The propoganda against it just further reinforces the opinion that people are too weak to be responsible for their own actions and impulses... pitiful.

This completely undermines the wealth of our nation.

I have smoked a little weed in my day. Quit smoking now and thus don't smoke weed anymore either.

It is legal in the Netherlands to smoke weed.

I've smoked weed a couple of times. The first time I was so paranoid about getting caught, it was not an enjoyable time. The second time I tried it, I was with this hot chick who wanted us to "mellow out". I was already pretty mellow in her presence, but thought "what the hell". I don't know what it was, but I got so damned sick to my stomach, I spent the next 2 hours in her bathroom puking my guts out. Needless to say, nothing else happened that evening. Damn it!

Let's see..
I have smoked it and I use to smoke it on a daily basis... But I ended up quitting because I seen what drugs can do you to you from looking at my family (Basically, my whole adult family at least smokes pot, some do more than that) so I learned that whether or not it is good or bad for you, it is apparent that it changes who you are when you are high and I didn't likke that shit. But don't get me wrong, I loved being high. I was crazy with my pesonalities. One second I'd be him, the next second Id be another dude. LoL...

And no, I don't believe it should be legal. I think that would be stupid. 'Cause drugs are bad.

And thisis also why I don't consume alcoholic beverages.
