Then I'm a really lazy NHL fan; I watch the highlights on SportsCenter.

I think it is interesting that whenever there's a hockey article in Sports Illustrated, there is a big full-page picture next to a single-page article. That shows how much interest there is in hockey on a broad scale.

Unless you live within walking distance of Hudson Bay, eh?

I guess watching all these breakaways is more exciting for the newbie fans but I don't like them.

Sorry, but if your team is up 5-1 by the 3rd period then that should be a win. These days even a 5 goal lead isn't enough.

I can't believe how little respect NHL players get...just looked at the grizzled faces of some of these guys, Stevie Y, Darren McCarty, Tie Domi...

Put the faces of those guy up on the side of the bus and you'd have no trouble selling the game.
