I didn't read everything about so I don't know if this was said or not but.....
Did you know that in the NFL they are required to interview at least one black person for head coach? That's so stupid! Hire someone because they're a good coach not because they are a minority. This just furthers racism
Need a new coach fast!

I used to agree with that, but now for some reason, I'm seeing all sides.
That isn't racist.......it says no where that "they have to be hired" It's just a rule that makes sure that minorities are considered....when even though they must have an interview doesnt gaurntee that they're considered at all....it just forces the possilbility. I think it's a good rule.

We just discussed all of that, and you missed it...Its not furthering racism, in fact, its far from it...You have a league where a good percentage of the players are black, many of them educated, and well spoken...Yet...Off the top of my head, the only black coach I can name is Tony Dungy...What has happend TT, if you must have cliff notes, everyone at Af has ADD it seems, is that you are more likely to hire your buddy, get a foot in the door if you have the same background as the person doing the hiring...Coming from a time where sports existed and having a black person in charge of white people is unacceptable, this is what has happened...As I said, it's not even really racism, its just a vantage point..
This may be a bad example, but...Who do you think would have a tougher time being an NFL player, let alone a coach...Joe Montana or Warren Moon..? As good as he was in college, Moon wasted 6 years in the CFL because essentially nobody would draft a black QB...This wasn't 1955...This was 1977 or so, the year I was born...He didn't make it to the Oilers until 1984...Who can honestly say that if Moon played on the same 49'ers teams Joe did, sans Joe, that Moon wouldn't be that deal..?
