Selig got his way and now there is a 50 game ban for a first offense. Personally I'm glad to see this and I hope all of you are also

50 Games..?!?!?!?!
So the testing is absolute and error proof..?
Anyways, I'd just like to see what concrete proof they have that steroids actually improve your atheletic ability...I mean, in a game or sport like football, or K-1 fighting, yeah...But...The fuck man...Baseball..? Instead of hitting a homerun 450 feet, it will only go 440 now..? Many of the things that they deem as cheating in baseball don't make ALL that big a difference man, truly...

it may not improve hand eye cordination....but it makes when you do get a great swing...the ball go for a homerun instead of a infield popup.....it does make a difference in baseball.
I'm glad to see this rule in place, but as Ayjha said...it better be error proof.

And too, the shit baseball is calling steroids, the last time I checked, is shit that you can buy out of your local GNC...Now, my thing is that if it isn't ILLEGAL to buy, why is it illegal for the sport..? I know when they were givin' Big Mac a little grief about whatever shit that was he took, the substance wasn't illegal...Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but...That's dumb as fuck...Weed testing is done because weed is illegal...You can't run to the local pharmacy and get some shits for your cataracts no matter what you try...But, if I can legally make a purchase, and then loose my job, damn, I got issues with that...

Some of the things that they test for are...but not many. They know what substances are looked at. Just don't take them. It's that easy

QUOTE(Lost Ghost)Steriods aren't legal....
Right, that's what I'm saying...Some of the things that they test for, and are considered illegal in the sport of baseball, are regular, off the shelf, at your local GNC stuff...It is available to all players, and not in the form of some sneaky ass cream (ahem) ...The whole thing about steroids is that it is an unfair advantage, how can it be unfair if it is available to all..?
AND
Have you guys ever heard of Tommy John surgery..? I read an article about it...It is a procedure that pitchers can get done that enhances the ligaments/tendons in their throwing elbows...That is not illegal...What's the difference..?
