No problem emanon.. as long as you get around to it before I make it a final.. I don't really care when you get around to testing it.. /:D" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt=":D" />

Update: New version released.. GUI ripping is enabled.. just click a topic, then + to add it to the rip list.. and click Begin Rip..!
(Only works for entire topics, not singular threads or posts.. yet..)

And look.. a new icon..! 8)
A few other minor cosmetic things have been fixed, too...

LoL, thankyou Bandyta..! I put sweat and blood into making this application beat whatever there is on the market.. not that there is any that I know of except for RiP Ripper..

In other news, a new version is upon us.. this version includes auto-ZIPs of retreived threads (WinRAR compatability is comming soon, this is just a quick fix, until I get the options working), browsing of threads in categories has been fixed, and half-broken ImageShack compatability is fixed! Riplist also is now working correctly.

There is also a new way of organising downloaded threads too, tell me if you like it..
and it's MUCH more stable..! /:D" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt=":D" />

*WILL POST NEW VERSION ON 7-8 NOVEMBER*

LoL, it may SOUND sexy.. but it sure ain't look it..
Oh, and my work is nothing compared to the shit I can look at here on AF.. I'd happily do any programming for any other troll on the forum.. just depends what it is, of course..

I've released a set of tools with aquaRipper, currently the only thing there is a little app to create XML based ACN files (aquaRipper Connection Files), so you can open connections in the new version, instead of having to use that ghastly wizard every time. I'd like to intergrate saving that actually works soon..

Yeah.. I'm working on the new version of the proggie as I type..

Well, here it is..: a brand new stable release!

Since I'm a lazy bastard, it ain't very fast performance wise. However, there are some nice new features to point out: browsing and ripping of single topics over multiple categories (and no downloading topics that you've already done that session - translation: nice and quick browsing), opening of ACN files (creation is mentioned in previous post), fixed clearing rip-list dialog, and no more damn scrolling within the log: it'll auto-scroll..! YAY..! /:D" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt=":D" />

Notes:
1) Clicking Stop to downloading topics may cause the application to fail to download any more topics, or screw with functions related to ripping topics
2) When clicking Stop Rip, if you are ripping an entire category, it will have to finish all threads before it'll finish gracefully. I'd click Close when you wanna finish
3) Regarding number 2, if downloading single threads, it'll have to finish all images in that thread before gracefully quitting. I'm sure you can live with that.
4) As with previous builds, make sure you get the first connection open to get categories correctly, otherwise, restart the app.
5) You may notice a tray icon. This is a work in progress, so don't bother me about it..

aquaRipper is now officially classified as alpha, and is now at around version 0.5. Nice new icons, fixed save and option dialogs, as well as fixed sys-tray use, and a brand new table widget - with internal progress bars should be ready in the next version of the software..!

-have a nice day,
who.am.i

Well, after my little break of fixing up aquabeta.net, and downloading Visual Studio 2005 final, I should be ready to continue carring out work on aquaRipper, starting at the beginning of next month. This also means you can upgrade to the release version of .NET 2.0 without aquaRipper fucking up..!

Well, see you in this thread next month then, ya'll..
