Man, I want to say that it was your name that I saw WAY back before I even knew what the web was, and having a site was about...
I was on the Slant Magazine forums, looking for my Goddess, Shauna Danielle...
I do believe it was YOU that started the thread...Am I right..?
Cool site, btw...We have a few MC's in teh house, one of them REALLY needs some guidance about beats and what not...Maybe if you get time you can check out the rest of the forums...And post a few beats for us to listen to...
Welcome to AF,
AYHJA

yo, melodiq;
greeting from the unofficial Mystic of this forum.
I just peeped your site, and wooo
I dig the bg music, it fits me like a Calvin Klein leisure suit. Loose beat, tight lyrics, powerful mission statement. Is that you? If so, where do I order my copy?
But, a point or two of advice,
1. set bg track to loop or fade, it runs dry at the end, and abrubtly - way too harsh for the ambience your site conveys..
2. a blueish gradient (less than 25%) on the text will make it fit in the background image better, giving a more dynamic text. The REALLY best way to do this is overlay the text at a 87% size, and center it,.. apply the gradient to the central text, and leave the larger to be like a white border, so the gradient doesnt' bleed into your background colors.
You should be able to find play in Berkeley, Ca. with that kind of joint. Good luck to you, in all you do.
That music was a blessing.
veritcal,
raum
BTW:
I saw in the news on your site that you *might* have been opening for Floggin Molly. How did that end up?
