QUOTE(Brains @ Sep 29 2006, 06:28 AM) have I somewhere mentioned that it is not an outrage Kramer? please read why I post...
I am not vilifying Israel chap. I am vilifying its use of advanced weaponry on civilian targets... do you understand the difference?
Maybe you didn't come right out and say it wasn't an outrage, but you trivialized its impact in Israel.
You used the most advanced weaponry availble to man and you think equipping primitive missiles with "ball bearing" is an outrage?!
You should look at the damage caused by these ball bearings before you attempt to dismiss them merely because Israel was using more advanced weapons...
And since you're vilifying Israel's use of weapons against civilians (not Israel itself), how about you take a look at both sides. I've listed the differences for you before.
Israel warned the people of Lebanon to move North. They dropped leaflets and they issued radio broadcasts.
The only warning Hezbollah gave was, "We're going to hit your cities!"
While Israel was attempting to limit to number of civilian deaths, Hezbollah was trying to kill as many Israeli civilians as possible... they targetted Israel's cities, towns, and farming communities.
Israel has repeatedly apologized for all the civilians that were killed in the conflict. Has Hezbollah apologized yet? Have they even returned the two soldiers they kidnapped?
