I can't fucking believe they wanted to charge me $80 for that shit...
I'm going to print one of these out, walk in the shop, ask them a shitload of questions, and then ask them what is it that they plan to do that one of these $20 enclosures can't do...
What dickheads...
Can anyone recommend one..? I don't want to just get some cheapt shit, but I guess anyone will work...I'll just get one black and shiny if not, lol...

I'm dead certain there are adaptors that can take a laptop drive into an IDE/SATA controller. You'd probably have to spend a decent amount of money too, but at least you'd still be left with the device in case stuff like that happens again (which seems to hunt you....)....

Just the data M8...I keep all my setting stored somewhere else, so formatting isn't an issue any more...
If all goes well, I'll be able to stick the drive in and just delete the things I don't need...

I got my encasement today...Best fucking $24 I've spent this year...I have most of my apps, stacks...
Fucking lovely...I private protected my user profile folder tho, and I'm not sure how, or if I can unlock it to see what I had there...But the bulk, probably 95% of what I wanted, I simply had created on my C drive...
