Brother, I keep that "little red book" on my person at all times...If you were to see me on the street, and ask me to let you borrow it, I could whip it out right there...

To be honest, you can't imagine how awesome this election experience has been for me...Going back and forth with you and others has given me a new appreciation for government and country...While I would not consider myself politically astute by a long shot, I do feel confident about the decisions I made...I am glad to be able to defend my picking Obama and Roger Wicker (my pick for our vacated senate seat) for public office...

The feeling is beyond mutual...And I fully take credit for that 'tedius' part of the fact check... :D Frankenstein, despite the noble attempt, did create a monster...

So you well know I can't categorized by conventions of party. Most of my decisions are clear... based on my adherence to something that I found long before I found that book.

(however, useless waste of money is not useful. I think lots more could be done, and would like to see some REAL new approaches. and not just new taxes, for me or anyone.)

I commented to a friend that the youthful enthusiam I felt was matured by seeing the impact of my first vote, and though I will support the Will of the People in that office, as I swore on my life to do - I will question ANYONE who aspires to it or fills it.

Obama has not proven his plan will work. I also suspect he will be far more conservative than he claims. I would love he could be firm in his associations, but it was useless for people to attack them. I just REALLY want to look at every aspect of my options. I don't feel I got to look at Obama that way. I lost a lot of interest in McCain (who I was no longer mentioning for a reason because the fact that he held the terrified vote.) FEAR NOT AT ALL - Chapter 3.

But man, that first vote I cast mattered for all the world to me, and I still measure it as the point where I became a Man. I want everyone to feel like that once. Then, I got to see far more of the picture than ever before. I am disappointed about alot. You realize there will be at least 3 infomercials on next election year, right? heh.

Hopefully next time we see REAL budgets, and not just bullet points and basics. That is the first time I didn't see the actual budget proposal of either candidate. Neither party could give me one. The only person who had one to offer was Nader.

I still think we should vote by DNA though. One Strand - One Vote. Fair election is more important that anything else, and this is the only way I have ever seen possible.

*besides the warriorpoet patriot in me says if you aren't willing to bleed for your country, you shouldn't get to decide who will lead your country.*

I looked at your state - Wicker would have been my choice.

(My congressman won! Blue Dog patriot with a great sense of appreciation for being my employee. Also incumbent.)

It is no new point of my character that I find, weigh, and create my own repository of knowledge. In fact, it is what I have done professionally to great recognition for two decades, in military and private sectors! and that information has always been unexpected - and occasionally useful in ways that change the way things are done for the better. Nothing about me is conventional - except I am conventional in the ways that I shouldn't be.

I am eager to allow our new President Elect to earn my respect. I might even give Biden a new shot. I do feel somewhere there is a situation developing that will quickly test him... and I have SPECIFIC suspicions. He'll probably be briefed on them tomorrow, because in a few weeks Syria is going to be in a great state of instability.

God Speed to our President and our President Elect. Let both be naught but agents of the Will of the People, whereby the Nation might be led in its execution of that force.

...me and my ideals...
