Just ranking football? Ok. The SEC has very strong teams at the top of the conference year in and year out. The bottom of the conference is very weak. When was the last time Vanderbilt won anything?

The Big 12 always has a good team Nebraska or Oklahoma, and Texas this year. They do not often have more than one good team. Same with the PAC 10. USC is GREAT, but the rest of the conference is not very strong.

I will not comment on the ACC and the Big East until teams quit moving around.

I am a Big 10 fan. They usually have one or two teams that are ranked very high. Even the bottom teams are usually very competitive. Northwestern almost beat Penn State this year. In fact Northwestern, who is often at the bottom of the conference, has won the conference title a couple of times in recent years.

Anyway my vote is SEC #1 and Big 10 #2. Now if Notre Dame joins the Big 10 .........
