Ok .... lets take an example... Water is a good thing, rain is a good thing right ? But if there is more rain then neccesary, what happens?
There are floods and people drown and die. That same water in good proportion will give life however in excess it will take lives!!!

There's endless examples...
I see what you guys are saying... I just don't believe too much of a good thing for a single person when it comes to gifts and shit like that isn't a bad thing...
Is too much love going to make someone a mad man?
Is too much music for a single person going to make him a violent person?
There's endless examples that could possibly favor each side, more of them favoring teh "too much good is bad" side.. But either way, there are examples.

Logic, too much love is not really a good thing. Once someone feels loved all the time they do not know what it is like not be loved and thus they become ignorant. One must feel what it is like not be be loved to realise what it means to be loved. One cannot exist without the other.
These things have huge impacts on individuals as well. If they recieve too much of one thing they do not realise what it is untill they feel what is the opposite. When someone listens to too much music they loose sight of whats important in life and do not mingle around with people so they are not social anymore.
In the end of all examples you will find something that isnt good about too much good. It does have a negative when you have too much good or too much bad.

We're talking about too much.. not alll...
If someone is loved 99% of the time, they are 1% of the time not loved.
Is that too much lvoe? No. The opposite of what they get just helps them apprecieate the good more, it isn't necessarily bad.
Appreciation is a good thing. The lack of appreciation isn't a bad thing.
The only thing is if they get attached to the good deeds or whatever that they are receiving in excess, that's when the real suffereing comes out. As Buddha says "Attachment is suffering" .. If someone attaches themselves to something, whether its little to nothing in their life or too much to everything in their life, it's the attachment of one thing that brings upon the bad. Not the actual excess product they receive.
