As a result of the events of the past 48 hours, I'm forced to reach the conclusion that Sarah Palin is a hateful cunt who shouldn't be permitted to run for public office of any kind, whether it's for a country of 300 million or a town of 7,000.

Now, it would be fair game to charge Obama with displaying poor judgement by allowing himself to be linked with Ayers. Although you could argue their only involvement revolved around 2 non-profit organizations, and there was little Obama could've done to see it coming, but let's give the McCain campaign the benefit of the doubt and say he knew full well who he was dealing with and what he got himself into.

"Our opponent though, is someone who sees America, it seems, as being so imperfect that he's palling around with terrorists who would target their own country."

This comment not only suggests, but explicitly declares that Obama would consider terrorism as a means to address his dissatisfaction with America.

Watching the video of her comments, I was struck that even the partisan crowd had a very subdued reaction.

I guess this is the kind of comment we should expect from a bigoted yokel like Palin. Pretty soon that bitch be talking about how much the media is biased to towards Obama and how they have it in for a member of the oppressed white minority like John McCain. If she's gonna play to the most base, xenophobic, prejudiced elements of society that twat should take her act back to Alaska.

Better democrat socialist than republican neo-facsist. Or olde school fascist in McCain's case. The lesser of the 2 evils.

McCain is hardly a Fascist, unless that was just meant to be a slur.

McCain is a Liberal Neo-Gradualist with heavy influences of NeoPlatonist Reformation of Capitalism.

In short: He believes small changes in Government should lead to more economic freedom of the Capitalist Society to enjoy their own capital gains, while maintaining economic and military sovereignty and expanding where possible to allow for globalization of National Force. All of this should be done as allowable by individual circumstance, and subject to scrutiny for overstating assets and inclusion of personal agendas. These governments have all ended in allowing liberal expenditures for extra-national agendas to esentially bankrupt them.

Obama is a Liberal Socio-Marxist with light influences of Communist Reformation of Capitalism.

In short: He believes large changes in goverment should be considered and modified in order to shift to Social Marxism instead of military revolution, which is diverted into a loyal work force by appeasment of social conditioning for housing, medical care, and food. He believes this European inspired Liberal reformation will emerge in a Regulated market that will strengthen the essential capital tenets of Socialist tinted Marxism. This government is extremely susceptible to imbalances in over-population; all attempts of which have led to either starvation, economic collapse, genocide, forced sterilizations, or regulated birth quotas.

Both of these men are in over their heads if they think they can fix the govt; both are in for a wake-up call. McCain has less that could go wrong. Obama has more to gain from something going wrong, as his political platform (National Socio-Reformatism) is emboldened by impoverished social unrest and stratefied class division. The national debt however, sold to China, makes a WORLD of difference unprecedented by previous political struggles of this calibur.

Neither candidate really displays the tenets of fascism, but both have employed the propaganda streams that allows Fascism to rise into power. Then again everyone since the 1940's has...

Democratic Republican Conservative with Light Neo-Federal Capitalist influences,

Raum.

(In short: Let me make mine, keep mine, and use mine, or give mine away as I please. and only tax me on defense and land, and what I actually spend. Otherwise, stay the hell out of my business.)

Pfft! McCain is a creature who sold his soul & sacrificed his once good rep & integrity for a shot a the top spot. If you think he has something else to offer your country & the world outside of senile desperation, empty rhetorical slogans (which I'm not so sure he even believes) & inciting divisiveness, then that's on you, raum. As far as I'm concerned now, He da devil trying to spin in so he comes across as America's saviour rather the soulless greedy old man he really is. The actuality is McCain's needs come first...& the country's somewhere further down the pole.
I'm Jig-A-Meister. That's my point of view.

Jig, what EXACTLY did he do that polarized you so much? I have reviewed the man's background extensively. There is nothing THERE that really makes him a standout other than he says he is a Republican and his is really isn't, and his Liberalism is not as pronounced as Obama's Liberalism. They will both further globalize the American economy's assets, at the expense of liabilities they hope never materialize.

That's what I don't get. Why do you seem to hate him?
You can disagree with both both men politically, and still not HATE either of them.

The only person hated more here is Palin, which is even less rational.

I don't hate on Palin. I dislike her intensly. I'm like that with folks who come off as plastic & ignorant. Her ignorance scares the whiskers off me. For somebody who has thinly-veiled ambitions for prez, I believe one cannot afford to be ignorant. Nor extremist in their views/opinions. I do not like her dual presentation of self with the whole Hockey Mom thing while at the same time tryin' to come off as Reagan in a skirt. This ain't the dawn of the 80s. And it ain't "Morning In America".

McCain as he is now is just not somebody I could vote for. I read & heard far too much of how he was in the past & do not see an iota of it even peeping through in the last several weeks. Of all the footage & articles I have seen in the last few months, I have yet to see him give clear answers & plans on everything from the economy ("earmarks & pork barrel spending") to the situation in Iraq (I promise You Victory!"). WTF?! Don't make promises of victory where there are none to be had. That kinda shit just links him to Dubya who promised the same thing thereby truly making it more of the same. I've tried to give him a chance on giving some form of coherent outline for those or other issues & he has not. He has *cough cough* earmarked his own seeds of destruction in why folks should give a shit about what he stands for. Dude is now all image & coasting off the coattails of what he used to be. I left my respect for him in a pork barrel somewhere. I now "suspend my campaign" in listening to what he has to say.
