Man, No Country for Old Men...That was some shit, let me tell you...I kept watching it, thinking to myself, 'Damn, is dude really THAT gangster..?' Great film, and the Mist was good also, but when it comes to Stephen King I just have a soft spot...I read the Stand cover to cover when I was 13, and my childhood bookshelf was full of King and Koontz novels...Sad to see Dean's work hasn't gotten fair treatment on the big screen though...

I am in that Blockbuster movie club, so hopefully I'll get to see more movies, and in HD too... :D

Oh come on Jig! You liked Enchanted more than Clone Wars?!?! Boy you really DO hate Lucas!! LOL!

Beasts:
The Dark Knight
Iron Man
Clone Wars

Pussycats (can't say I hated em but just were fair in my opinion)
Incredible Hulk
Indiana Jones and the lost Geritol

Sorry didn't go to enough movies this year...

Nah tried to see Wanted on opening night but the theater was so packed we ended up just sneaking into Hulk...again. I'm going to wait on Hellboy II. Not a huge fan and heard it was pretty sketchy....but visually interesting though. I'll get back to you on those after the DVD releases.

Neither HB II or Wanted are deep. Nor are they pretending to be.Just Fun. I understand why you were able to see Clone Wars. There would have been no lines for it. :laff:

Hey man I went two weeks late....but I still had to push through 150 6 year olds to get a seat. Sat between two soccer moms because nobody would go with me my own age. And they weren't yummy mommies either. :(

See, now if you had gone to see Enchanted, there would've probably been hot mommies there perving on Dempsey & Marsden. Out of all of the shit i mentioned above, that movie suprised me the most. Hilarious! Clone Wars I feel was strictly aimed @ 6 yr olds, much like Phantom Needbreathmints was.

Ok after much reviewing '08's best are in no particular order:

Iron Man
Chocolate
In Search Of A Midnight Kiss
Wanted
Harold & Kumar Escape Guantanamo Bay
Body Of Lies
In Bruges
Wall-E
Taken
The Dark Knight

So far this year year hasn't yielded me a Top Ten yet:

Watchmen
Moon
Star Trek
District 9
Cold Souls
Adventureland
Zack & Miri Make A Porno
Let The Right One In (Swedish version with english subs. The english dub is wack)
Slumdog Millionaire

And I gotta add Stranger Than Fiction to my '07 list. The shit has grown on me sooo damn much

Inglorious Basterds was simply awesome, start to finish. I recommend that film to any and everyone.
