Chick-fil-A Bowl
LSU (7-5) vs. Georgia Tech (9-3)

LSU just hasn't been the same team we'd thought they'd be to have come off a national championship...They've struggled mightily this year at the QB position, and I just don't see them overcoming that issue for this game...LSU got beaten by a Georgia team that got smashed by the mighty triple option of Tech...Same shit, different toilet, Tech has a field day here...

Insight Bowl
Kansas (7-5) vs. Minnesota (7-5)

I have a feeling that Reesing will try to play well, and they will at first but that Minnesota will topple them...Despite my feeling, I'm still goign to pick Kansas here...They have a better offense, and I think they'll be motivated by the position they're in...

Music City Bowl
Boston College (9-4) vs. Vanderbilt (6-6)

Even though Vandy has a bit of a home game here, I still don't think they can beat BC...They started well and then underachieved the rest of the season...They'll play hard, but they won't win....

Sun Bowl
Oregon State (8-4) vs. Pittsburgh (9-3)

I'm done betting against Oregon teams...I'll take the Beavers here...Small sizes and funny names yield great results...OSU almost won the Pac-10 this year, that counts for something after watching the Bowl games this year...

Armed Forces Bowl
Houston (7-5) vs. Air Force (8-4)

These two teams played in the regular season, and AF won...Without completing a pass...The weather wasn't that great then, and there are 22 MPH winds today...I don't see a reason to go against Air Force here, but I would not be shocked if Houston does to AF what they did to Tulsa and shit all over their plans...

Gator Bowl
Clemson (7-5) vs. Nebraska (8-4)

I'm not sure I trust Nebraska here...But I really don't trust that Spiller and Davis will have good games, and their QB is suspect...I'll take the Huskers here...

Capital One Bowl
Georgia (9-3) vs. Michigan State (9-3)

Another game which seems impossible to pick...Georgia didn't do will in big games, and was the preseason #1 team in the country...I don't think it would be wise to vote against them here...I think they come out and roll Michigan State, who won't be able to get Ringer off today...

Outback Bowl
South Carolina (7-5) vs. Iowa (8-4)

I think Iowa is tired of losing close games...An inconsistent SC team means they get beat today, maybe in a doozy..!

Rose Bowl
Penn State vs. USC

I know USC is getting all the hype here, but its hard to feel its not deserved...I mean, they smashed Ohio State...They didn't have Wells, but he doesn't play defense anyway...I think that USC just has too many athletes, but I would not be shocked to see if Penn State plays well and keeps this one close...I just think USC has too much big play potential to let this one slip by....

FedEx Orange Bowl
Cincinnati vs. Virginia Tech

Virginia Tech...The times I've watch them this year I just haven't been impressed...I'm taking the little guy here, I think Cinci will be ready to play and put their program on the map...

I wish I could have accessed the site so I could have continued posting my predictions, but oh well. Good thing we didn't have money on it!

Some shocking upsets by Ole Miss and Utah. Great games to watch but agonizing losses by 2 powerhouses. Damn
"If there were no eternal consciousness in a man, if at the bottom of everything there were only a wild ferment, a power that twisting in dark passions produced everything great or inconsequential; if an unfathomable insatiable emptiness lay hid beneath everything, what would life be but despair?"

Excuse me? Utah a surprise? Have you not been reading my posts? Don't be a hater just because they aren't in one of the elite "BCS Boys Club" conferences.....

UT and UTES for 1 & 2
