I found something new and easy...

I used one bag of bowtie pasta and instead of spaghetti sauce I used cream of chicken soup. Right as the soup heats up throw in frozen peas and cook till its all nice and warm. Then I put grilled chicken on top, but you guys can leave that out if its too much extra work. It's an amazing pasta dish...very good.

AYHJA's Death By Chocolate

Death By Chocolate

This is a very rich dessert, one that I learned how to make in college...The total cost of all ingredients is about $40, and what it will do to your bowel system will become legendary...But, despite all of that, you won't be able to stop eating it until it's gone...

Ingredients
4 boxes of brownie mix (Turtle brownies w/caramel topping works best)
6 buckets of Cool Whip
2/3 boxes of chocolate pudding
12 Candybars (Butterfinger or Skor = 15)
1 Hershey's chocolate syrup
1 Bag of Chocolate Chips
2 Packages of Chocolate Oreo Cookies (Or Oreo Crumbs)

‚» Take your Oreos and scrape the creme from the middle...I usually buy the cookies and scrape the cream, cause it's cheaper...But if $ isn't an issue for you, LoL, you can go ahead and buy the pre crushed Oreo crumbs...The Oreos provide texture for this desset, so you don't want them crushed too finely, just broken into a few pieces...

‚» Make sure your candybars are cold/frozen, before breaking them apart like the Oreos...I usually opt for teh Skor, but any "hard" kind of candybar will work in this dessert...Like the Oreos, these provide a texture...

‚» Prepare your Chocolate pudding, and let it chilling in the fridge...You can also chill your chocolate chips...

‚» Prepare your brownies according to the "cake like" instructions, which will mean the brownies are more fluffy...Try to prepare your pans so that you can do two 13x9 at a time...You will need to let them cool only for a moment before putting them in an aluminum pan, try to find one that is about 2.5, 3" deep, they usually cost a couple of dollars in the grocery store...

‚» Once your first two pans of Brownies are done, wait until they are cool enough to touch before you put in your next two pans...When they are warm instead of hot, put crumble one pan of your brownie into the aluminum pan...Try to cover the entire bottom with just the first pan...What you want to do is pack the brownie into the bottom of the pan, until it is a thin layer...Think pie crust here...

‚» Once you have your base layer of brownie, add a layer of chocolate pudding on the top of it...The reason you pack your brownie is so that the pudding won't sink through it, and you'll be able to cut your dessert in pieces...

‚» Add your second pan of brownie atop your layer of pudding, making sure to spread it evenly, as you won't be able to pack this layer very much at all...You just want to cover the pudding layer as much as possible...

‚» And another layer of pudding, just enough to conver the 2nd brownie layer...

‚» Atop that layer of pudding, add a layer of Oreo crumbs...

‚» Atop that layer of Oreo crumbs (make it a good layer) add a layer of whipped cream...

‚» By now, your second batch of brownie should be ready...This is where you improv, as you may be out of more ingredients than others...Just remember to seperate every layer of texture with a layer of pudding or whipped cream...

‚» When you lay on your last layer of brownie, don't forget to add your layer of Caramel, if you got Turtle Brownies...And right underneath the final layer (whipped cream should make up the top layer) I usually like to put most of, if not all of the Skor/Butterfinger...

‚» Sprinkle Chocolate chips on the layer of whipped cream, and write my name in chocolate syrup on the top of it... /:D" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt=":D" />/ LoL...Cover it, and put it in the fridge to chill all over, if you prepare it around noon, it should be good to go by that night...But, this is one of those desserts that tastes better the longer it stays cold, but if your family is anything like mine, the shit won't last past the second day, because it tastes better everytime you eat it...

Enjoy

Turtle means carmel and chocolate...its the look they give together like the contrast on the turtle shell.

The image it conjures up in my head resembles something of a round, podgy brown splodgy thing, like a...turd.

Hey I'm not the only one who's thought of it like that!

Eeeww, peas :yuk: . Give me the chicken and pasta (the rest of the recipe is nice), and keep nassty peas, for flicking out the window!

If ya like peas, try Curried Pea Soup. One of my mates concocted the recipe.
