Yeah definitely noticed that. And I wonder if that's becasue with that kind of animation the people talking still don't synch up well enough to look like actual human expessions and such? Might be the only thing holding back a company from doing a movie like this?

Yeah, I agree that more talking might be difficult to animate as good as the action stuff, but I dont know about you guys but the dialogue in SW is just as important and powerful as the action/ effects. I still love watching that first chat between Luke & Obi Wan, or the training with Yoda, ahh its all too much ...

But it's clear Lucas has lost the touch (if he ever had it) going off the wooden dialogue from the prequels. The best SW dialogue wasn't written by him, but by Larry Kasdan (Star Wars & Empire) & sometimes it was just Empire director,Kirshner, letting the actors suggest ideas like Han saying ''I Know" before being put into carbon freeze. Alec Guinness rewrote his own dialogue for the original too. Like I've said previously: Georgie is a good Ideas Man & storyteller, but he needs to let others handle the execution.

Hopefully you guys can see this one with Boba Fett before it's taken down. Animation as usual is beyond fantastic. guy doing Vader's voice sucks though. Same guy that does those Chad Vader shorts on Youtube. They need a better Jimmy Earl J sound alike.
It's easy to suck at doing über-intimidating voices when you're not James Earl Jones. I think the guy in that vid does the voice pretty well. Who do you think does the voice better (other than Jones, obviously), DL1? Have you heard more than one better sound-alike?
What actually sucks is that since Episode II, Boba Fett -- the most bad-ass bounty hunter in the galaxy (despite his now Darth Maul-esque un-serendipitous death) -- is a Kiwi. He sounds rather less of a bad-ass since they did away with his enigmatic rasp. And having the same voice as the so-ubiquitous-you-don't-care-about-any-of-them-individually clone troopers doesn't help one's bad-ass-osity.

Too short clip!!
I think the Darth voice isnt too bad, just needs a bit of work on dramatic delivery, dont forget JEL was classically trained.
Agree that Boba lost a lot of the mystery when he turned out to a Kiwi and chatted a lot, but I gues it was inevitable if you make him a bigger character.

I DO A BETTER VADER than that guy! Seriously....LOL! But I just think they shoulda kept testing guys for the part cause to me that guy is way off and I can't get the Chad Vader outa my head when I hear his voice.
As for Boba. I kinda liked the guy that played him in Episode II. Thought he seemed like a bad ass and I loved the accent, thought it fit the part. I kinda thought outa the prequels he was one of the redeeming parts after the pussy way he died in Return of the Jedi. I did like his original voice too but didn't think this was a bad revision.
ARRRRGGGHHHHH!!!!

I, personally have always gotten a kick outta Chad Vader. He rocks! And that thing with all the stormtrooper clones looking & sounding like a Maori guy always irked me. Lucas & his fuckin' tampering ass!

Simple Men don't subject the general populace of Earth to their Imperial will & thrust upon us badly remixed *cough cough* Clones of once superior product while hiding from public opinion in their impenetrable ranches surrounded by yesmen while Menacing us in a Phantomlike manner & weilding godlike power.
