Darth Vader Playable in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

#1

It’s cool enough that you get to play as Darth Vader ’s secret apprentice, but it looks like you’ll actually get to play as ol’ tall, dark, and scary himself also. Apparently, the opening level of the game will have you hunting Jedi on the Wookie planet of Kashyyyk. You’ll be able to use all of Vader’s powers to fight off all the Chewie cosplayers that come charging at you to devastating effect. This new information combined with the incredible technology we’ve seen so far make it a little hard not to get excited about this game.

Decided it would be a neat idea to put Star Wars related news and articles in the same thread, rather than have 1.5 million of them scattered through the forums...

Why..? :p

Though, you may say what I'm already thinking...I think on one hand he spurns Star Wars, because as a director, he'll probably never do anything else, and depending on who you ask, didn't do such a great job w/Star Wars as it is, its just that it's such a huge phenomenon...And then on the other hand, he milks the shit out of the franchise...

Well I was a little disappointed with the first two movies but RotS was fantastic. they really shoulda spread the story line of Sith over the three movies to show him more gradually turn evil then all in one shot. But as a whole all 6 movies together minus Jar Jar and Ewoks are my favorite movie series of all time.

The video game does look intense. I haven't really ever been a big video game guy because I'm color blind but I may have to buy an Xbox or Playstaion for this.

Yeah, I agree...I would have rather seen a condensed version of Episode 1, with what happened in ROTS happening in Episode II...They could have delved more into what made Anakin turn, could have delved more into just how powerful he had really become, and why the prophecy was true indeed... Instead, we are left with a few cartoons and video games to fill in the blanks...But the video game will be bad ass man, I can just sense it...
