Jack and I tried to watch this movie about 3 times and we both fell asleep on it all 3 times. I really don't see what the big hype was.........and please be gentle use the small stones first. lol

You aren't the only person I heard say that. Obviously didn't grow up aware in the 1980's during the peak of the Cold War did you? The comic book was written during that period so there was a greater understanding and comprehension of the entire point of the story. If you don't know what the Cold War was then you aren't going to understand the movie at all...nor appreciate how true to the story that the movie was kept.

Just rented it. I refused to give money to see the edited version at the movies. It was worth the wait for the dvd. Good movie.
