I think Patton Oswalt does a pretty good job of elucidating what's wrong with the prequels. (Apologies if y'all have seen this before.)

Since I know pretty much nothing about George Lucas' social/familial situation since RotJ, I can hardly surmise as to why, but it certainly seems to me that the prequels were more geared for kids (pre-teens and younger) than for all ages, while the original trilogy was more "for pre-teens and up".

I watched Episode I with my neice a few weeks ago cause she just turned 7 and I figured she'd be old enought to see the movie and.....she just didn't get it. And she hated Jar Jar. Then I threw on Episode IV and she loved it. George somewhere along the way decided he had to start talking down to children and he may have sold alot of toys and made himself even richer but I think he underestimated how intelligent children are today.

That clip's pretty funny & havent seen it before. It does sum up nicely the problem with the prequels.
Do you think it was Lucas going for the kids market or over powers?

Pretty cool scene. Kid walks like he's got a load in his pants but otherwise very Star Warsy.

I'm really into this new game, or well, at least the trailers and the all too awesome Star Wars lure has this on the tip of my tongue...I found some info on the two hotties (gotta love it when girls kick ass) in the trailers, here's some linkage if you want to peep and see how this thing goes...

Shae Vizla

And the powerful hottie from the latest trailer, who as of yet doesn't have a name:

Nice! When I read some of the novels about Mandalore I kinda pictured the womens as more sturdy lookin...kinda like female body builders seeing they are kinda Star Wars' version of Klingons sorta. This Vizla chick looks more like the Mandalorian Gisele.

Right? I've noticed that for years now especially through that Legacy series. I mean even Cade Skywalker's mom was unreal. Not an ugly woman in the galaxy.
