Religion And Geograghy
Do any of you think what is written in religious books has actually any reference the the geographical situation where that religion came to be?

I was just talking in general, for example in hinduism, you are not supposed to eat beef, due to it being seen as sacred, then in islam you can marry more then one wife, it could have been due to the fertility rate of the women were not that great, and you cannot eat pork etc etc. Simple stuff as to the being you can eat and can't. Thing you can do and stuff that you cant...
