levels of heaven

A school of music that studies the rhythm of nature, a school of fashion that studies the elegance of the Universe, a school of design that studies the architecture of the ancients, a school of philosophy that studies the time-tested Truth.

"If there were no eternal consciousness in a man, if at the bottom of everything there were only a wild ferment, a power that twisting in dark passions produced everything great or inconsequential; if an unfathomable insatiable emptiness lay hid beneath everything, what would life be but despair?"

And to be honest, I really hate these open ended questions Homez...You've read the work, and thats cool, but left nary a bit of information about what you've read, no a link to the material that we can read it...Almost a week goes by before you hop back in and type 3 more sentences...

C'mon man I KNOW you know better than that...You wanna talk about something, discuss something that warrants being here, please do so...If you want an opinion from those that have read it, post it in the T.S.S. General forum where questions like that should be asked...

there are ten palaces in seven heavens (and the some of those heavens have Hells in it.)

7. Hekel Araboth, the Holy of Holies. This is the Qadosh Qadosh. It is the Highest Octave of Existence in which all that exists is immortal. Hence the Name †™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬†™¢¢¬‚¦‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦¢‚¬Å“YHVH.†™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬? For the purposes of mankind in its self aware aspects, the most important function of this Hekel Mashaim, is in its emanations to the first Palace of Atziluth, the lowest aspect of the Divine Merkhaba, or Chariot. Araboth contains uncreated objects and is the permanent residence of the seed atom and the first light. It is best equated to the stage of †™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬†™¢¢¬‚¦‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦¢‚¬Å“Let there be†™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬? where nothing is yet, but which all must pass through. Many hold this stage is not achievable by man. My argument is when you achieve this state, you are no longer a man. This is the plane of the Greatest Inner Mystery which is described, at the same time, as the Sea of Glass and the Lake of Fire.

6. Hekel Makon, called the "established place." It is the sphere of Divine Law and is where all things are attuned to the will of the Creator before they pass into existence. This is the stage at which programming into the grand design occurs. It is a point utilized in the redemption of all lower beings which have deviated from Divine Providence, and the achievement of this is said to only be possible through the †™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬†™¢¢¬‚¦‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦¢‚¬Å“word†™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬?. It is for this reason, doctrine is crucial to spiritual advancement.

5. Hekel Ma'on. It is filled with heavenly hosts which sing praises to God. It is aligned with the emanation of Power of God, as originating within the higher levels. This is the stage at which the ministering Angels occur. The Host of Heaven which acts upon the world as commanded by The Lord of the Universe. This is the lowest stage, in which you are in direct contact with the Presence of God. It is within the 5th heaven that the also the eternal hells are contained, where the tormentors are tormented.

4. Hekel Zebhul, the "dwelling place." This is a spiritual Jerusalem corresponding to the emanation of Beauty. In this city is a tabernacle, personified by Metatron, with the Seraphim Michael as high priest, surrounded by the souls of martyrs. This is the †™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬†™¢¢¬‚¦‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦¢‚¬Å“Heaven†™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬? in which only the Messiach and the prophets and the martyrs are allowed, and some say the truly devoted.
3. Hekel Shekhakim meaning "clouds" and is associated with the sphere of Victory. This is where the war in heaven rages, for the fallen have been denied the higher levels of the Presence. Some maintain that the Hekel Zebul (the 4th heaven) has traitors in it, and it is for that reason that there is a war in the Hekel Shekhakim, which serves as the floor of the Temple of the 4th Heaven.

2. Hekel Rakiya is translated as the "firmament." This is symbolized by the emanation Glory. This is the sphere of the heavenly bodies, which are endowed with divine knowledge. This is the Heaven in which the souls of the prophets or the Angels of the Lord appear to mortals. Also, most who †™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬†™¢¢¬‚¦‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦¢‚¬Å“go to heaven†™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬? never achieve a higher Hekel than this, for they are ill suited for the wars which rage for domination of the True Providence. This is a point at which one is a †™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬†™¢¢¬‚¦‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦¢‚¬Å“ghost†™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬? or †™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬†™¢¢¬‚¦‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦¢‚¬Å“astral body†™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬? with no definitive conscious connection to the higher aspects of the Macrocosm.

1. Hekel Vilon, the "veil," shields the heavens during the day and descends each night. It is associated with the Foundation and Kingdom. It is for this reason that both the noble Magus and the sinister Nephandus operate at night, This is the realm of the rainbow of the covenant and is the place of the weather and nature as a metaphor for the continuance of life. Many who achieve this state in life find themselves outcasts for no specific reason. It is the source of dreams and visions, and is the †™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬†™¢¢¬‚¦‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦¢‚¬Å“veil†™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬? which is pulled back from the eyes of the living initiate, so his soul may be bared to him that he may conquer Hell and Death, though he still lives. It is for this reason that the man†™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¾¢‚¬Å¡‚¢s eyes are veiled on Shabbat, and (actually) the basis of the blindfold in the Masonic ritual and the degrees of witchcraft alike.
