Help Please...

Post by Black Butterfly »

I need your assistence. I have been caught up in reading this website today (http://thencci.com). I have been reading the "LAWS" section and find it quite interesting. I am in the very, very early stages of seeking the Truth. I am a Christian and am in love with a man whose knowledge circumvents most of what the "church" teaches from the King James version of the Bible. Could you please check it out and let me know if the teachings are sound and if the reading is worth my time. Also, could you suggest other readings that may help me on the Path. Keep in mind that I need to start at the beginning.

I appreciate you!

yea...the first thing you need to do is great away from the King James Version. If you want to get the closest to the original Greek and Hebrew you should be reading the NASB. If you don't like that then just go to the NIV
"If there were no eternal consciousness in a man, if at the bottom of everything there were only a wild ferment, a power that twisting in dark passions produced everything great or inconsequential; if an unfathomable insatiable emptiness lay hid beneath everything, what would life be but despair?"

Soren Kierkegaard

try John's Apocryphon - quite a long text, a bit difficult to understand on first read, but there are some things in there which opened my eyes.

that text is from early AD and found among a collection in the Egyptian village of Nag Hammadi in the 50'ies. Hence, the Nag Hammadi library / collection.

You are awesome Brains, I would have suggested that very read...If you want, BB, we can talk more about it as you go along, and once you are done w/that read, I have another read that has been instrumental in my own development...Thinking and talking out of the box is a bit of a specialty in my tight knit circles, and there aren't a greater batch of guys to help with that than these...

But definitely read John's Apocryphon, its a good start...

BB,

Perhaps I can help a bit, as I have found myself on a similar journey..

The secret to finding truth can be summed up in 1 word:

THINK!

If you consider all the options unbiasedly, you wil be just fine. Never do something because the source of the information "told" you to do it (ie, don't do something because it's in the Bible, but rather because you understand why it flows in the same direction as the inherent qualities of truth God embedded everywjere).

Even if your a Christian, don't hesitate to read other religious books, etc. The truth is very hard to find, but if you pursue it consistently and honestly, you will become wiser and wiser, and I think God respects that.

All teaching are biased, so this is why you must think critically and carefully before you accept or deny anything.

Think, and keep an open mind, and you should be just fine /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

That is SO true. I am still befuddled at the ridiculousness of a church in the US Appalachian Mountains, where just because in part of the Bible it says "take up serpents", they jig about holding rattlesnakes above their heads to "loud Christian Rock", and don't mind if they die the next day.

It cracks me up when Ruby Wax (who was doing a documentary on this church) refuses to dance with the rattlesnakes- a guy says to her "But you're gonna die anyway!" And she responds "But not tonight." /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

Jesus was not Black. He was a Jew. specifically, he was a Beni-Natser, one of the Natserim.

Solomon was not Black. He was a Jew. specifically he was Achud beni-David melekh ha-israel. (The one son of David, King of Israel.)

Cleopatra was not Black. She was a Greek. Her father was Ptolemy.

Moses was not Black. He was a Theban Hebron.

this site is rife, wishful thinking combined with all kinds of slightly innacurate reasearches, racially motivated and charged setniments (jesus was neither African, NOR american, and most African Americans are descended of sub-Saharan Africans no where NEAR Israel, much less related by blood and some completely false statements, about Hebrew, the Latin Alphabet, translations.

Hebrew is not the original language. it is Eshmoon. Hebron are the people, and the original Bible is not Masoretic Hebrew, it is proto-hebraic Eshmoon, and is NOT the dead sea scrolls.

------------------------------------

Solomon's neck and belly are compared to ivory with eyes like fish ponds in comparison to his wife, who is from a land of dark skinned people.

Esau is the brother of Jacob, called Israel. These are the sons of Isaac, and grandsons of Abraham. Esau (Eshaw - like Fire) is named for his red hair, and Jacob (Yakkov) is his twin (Jacob means "by the heel," for it is said when Esau came out of his mother, Jacob was holding him by the heel." This is taken that he had since birth been ambitious for Esau's birthright. In order to get than birthright, he covers his arms with goat skin, because his brother was so hairy.

In all the diagnosis of leprosy in Leviticus, one of the original books of the Torah, all the references are to looking for blight and red spots and spotting blonde hairs and not mistaking freckles for leprosy.

So, if you want to tell me how many Black men with blue eyes, red hair, and/or white neck and bellies you personally know...

-------------

NOT TO MENTION~

Job complains when his skin is darkened to black, as part of his curse (which is restored)

the Ethiopians get the name Kushuwy, a name which means "of black skin"? Why would a black skinned people call a different people "oh, they are the ones with black skin."

and FINALLY

All of the philosophy of the Messiach attributed to the Old Testament, or the original Essenes Beni Natser, is completely missing from this web sites teachings. http://www.essene.com/History&Essenes/NazarAnthro.htm

They claim Jewish ancestry, and claim the birthright of the Jews, and then PREACH the teachings of the Greeks and the Genitles, and FURTHER mistranslate the destiny of the Hebrews as taught by the fire and brimstone teachers of the Anabaptist movement. They even go so far as to use the name Armageddon as a name for the end of the world,.. when it is to the Jews the Hill where Josiah and Saul both fall. It is a cursed place for it is where they lost the Ark of the Covenant, and John of Patmos is the first to give some kind of final battle epic to Christianity, and he was a Greek.

The Jews in Israel who never left, the Jews in Persia who left over 2,500 years ago, the jews who were the Natserim (Nazarenes) ALL OF THESE STILL EXIST INTACT and are pale and olive skinned people with variations of brownish hair that is wavy or loosely curly, with eyes ranging from Bown to green. NONE of these remnants of original Jews are black, but with the tendancy for Jews to take exotic wives, that is not to say that some Jews don't have mothers with African ancestry,.. but it was largely seen as a taboo.

the reason is simple: the genetic pigment that follow jewish genetic findings is pheomelanin (red to yellow), not eumelanin (brown to black), which is the most dominant pigment in "Black" people. But if you want to Argue that Jews are Black because they are from Africa, what about the Jews that have been in China since 8 A.D.?

stick with http://www.ancient-hebrew.org/

beware anyone who says "most people" or "most scholars"... especially when MOST JEWS KNOW HEBREW.

and there were Jews (such as Joseph of Aramthea, whom lent his burial place to the corpse of Jesua) owning full mining rites in tin Mines in Britain, where there was much wealth...

Scotland is historically the only place Jews were not (yet) openly persecuted, but there is ABSOLUTELY no mention of any black Jews in Scotland. Their intolerance to dark-skinned peoples, hoewever is (unfortunately) legendary.

mainly because of the legends of the svartalf (dark people) as related to all evil in the underworld, as symbolized by the bogs where they sank their dead.

vertical,
