Is God Black or White..?

Is God Black or White..?

Post by AYHJA »

Maybe a weird question, but I always like the discussions here, especially on the offbeat questions...

Is God black or white..?

Not race, but...Is he he culmination of all things, or the abscense..?

To God there is no black or white. I mean really...we are all just cells waiting to become shit! From dust to dust. You're from the same dust I am, and you'll return to the same heap of dust I do.

Interesting though...i will like to watch what others have to say. I think it would be cool if God was a Gostosa!

in true complex fashion, I will say "depends"

When you speak of El being *either* black OR white, you speak of El being an Absolute, thus El is [black OR white], from the point of the self-determinism which the modern Christian calls "Free Will". For, El is an absolute we have the right to embrace or deny. This is not to say that the black or white has an intrinsic value, it is saying, we do have the right to approach the will of El as "black OR white." And based on the arbitrations of those values, we can even say which El is.

------- Thus in Selection Logic, We select the case in which El is either black OR white.

When you speak of El being above the values of black AND white, you approach El as abstract. This is the approach of the Hebrew Mystic. El is thus only approachable through contemplation of metaphor. And to represent the universitality of El, these metaphors need be above "either/or" logic, for the Nature of El is all-encompassing; including the El Ha-Shaitan El.

------- Thus in Sequential logic, El passes the requirement of both black AND white, in as much as they are not exclusive of one another.

When you speak of black and white as definitions, El transcends both of these. He is uninformed by both black and white, or he would be entirely visible, if yet still incomprehensible. Thus, the answer is that El is *beyond* both black AND white, for man can comprehend both black and white, and yet still not comprehend El.

------- Thus is boolean logic, neither the statement "El = white" nor "El = black" is a complete and valid statement of fact.

Thus, we can only conclude:

El <> black(white+black)/white.

El <> 2(3+2)/3

El <> 10/3

Is a true statement.

We could even say:

El <> 0(1+0)/1

or

El <> 666(777+666)/777

but this becomes a statement of no euclidean worth. What truly is established by this is not what what El is, but rather "What El is less than, or greater than." Thus we can know what God is not, for we are not God. it is not until we are God that we can know what he is.

This ultimately leads us to a subject of great debate: the dilemma of Theodicy, which is the fundamental essence of the Book of Job.

What the hell did Raum just say??

The only thing I got from him was that El is Absolute. So taht must mean that he is the cumlulation of all things
"If there were no eternal consciousness in a man, if at the bottom of everything there were only a wild ferment, a power that twisting in dark passions produced everything great or inconsequential; if an unfathomable insatiable emptiness lay hid beneath everything, what would life be but despair?"

Soren Kierkegaard

I really dont know but I think he is saying that it "depends". Also that as mere humans we cannot conclude which one god is and that we will be running in circles by trying to find out what god is not to find out what he is actually.

But I'm just wondering why does god have to be the absolute of one thing. If he is god, then shouldnt he be the absolute of everything and nothing both together. which is what i think raum is trying to say too. But then again i cant wait for raum to dig in deeper to what he just said.

Well if looked at a mathematical sense to me, even 0 has an opposite; Infinity! So basically we also have to see whether we are also taking into account the ying yang theory; ie good equal to evil , maintaining a balance etc. For if we find out which one is god we must at the same time also decide which one is satun so to say
