Well, with my PC in the shop (Yes, my new laptop...yes, I realize I'm cursed) I've been occupying my time with other things...

I happened upon a PSP, and being bored, I gave it a whirl...What a great little piece of hardware man, I love it...I got grand theft auto vice city stories for it, and have been putting music and vids and what not on my memory card...I have a 4 gig card coming soon, and I'm going to return my 1 Gig...

Anybody else have one..? If you want one, I probably know someone that can get them for...CHEAP...Just let me know...

I've read about PSP bricks, however, and don't think that this is sexy at ALL...But for the most part, viewing images and shit like that is beyond awesome...Even does internet...

I know Aemeth has one and totally loves it. I've been thinking about getting one also. (Do you think you could PM me Ty with how cheap your guy can get them for and other info on it?)

Oh, and Ty, you are cursed when it comes to computers. Damn...

one of the reasons it is cheap is because it failed to pick up in sales. The DS blew it away. The rest of the stock on the PSP is being remaindered and they are making a new model to release in '07.

I didn't find any PSP game threads so I thought I'd hang a post here.

I just got a PSP, firmware 2.71. Downgraded it to 1.5 then upped to 3.4OEA.

Currently I'm hooked on Star Wars Episode II and Wipeout Pure.

Anyone here have a PSP with any game recommendations?

Man, forgive, but my opinions may be bias...I have a PSP (I have some softs in the Workshop if you don't have them already) and love it to fucking DEATH...Its awesome...Shit, I even have a PSP porn thread, lol...

http://feeds.feedburner.com/Xplicit

At any rate, I'm really usually just gassed to be playing something so small that doesn't suck...I have enjoyed all the games I've bought thus far w/t exception of NCAA football 2007, which has an annoying ass glitch...

I have:

1. GTA VCS
2. Lego Star Wars II
3. Twisted Metal
4. Tekken Dark Resurrection
5. Def Jam FFNY
6. NCAA Football 2007

With the exception of NCAA, I like all the other games, Tekken and Def Jam are almost if not better than their PS2 counterparts, which is amazing...The games are $20, so I don't expect much, but am usually pleased with what I buy...Great little device man, I love it...

Ahahahaha PSP porn /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Actually, I gotta get video conversion to this thing figured out because the screen is just awesome.

My freind just lent me Daxter so I'll give that a go. Just saw Syphon Filter looking good too.

I think I'll be happy with Lego Star Wars for a bit, the game is perfect for this.

Honestly, I have a Nintendo DS Lite, and a PSP. I think the games for Nintendo DS are SLAMMIN!

I love my DS Lite so much, 2 gig flash drive with about 14 games on it, and music, a couple a flicks, and some homebrew. MS3 DS Simply. It handles real time action REALLY well, and you can get 12 hours of play time out of a full charged system.

The PSP has the screen, but the controls feel awkward, and the drive is damn annoying. I rip games to flash memory becuase UMD is such a damn waste, and the components are awkward, clunks, heavy, and lag like a bish. I therefore only play puzzle of turn based games on the PSP. The DS just handles action games infinitely better, and the touch screen is too fun.

Games for PSP that are fun to play:

Puzzle Quest - This game rocks for any console or haldheld. PSP is no exception. Basically, it is a puzzle game, but with RPG elements.

Online Chess Kingdoms - Not a regular chess game. Not just animated chess. You have a map grid and build armies to conquer cities, and defeat the enemies armies. If you play turn based, that is one thing. The real killer way to play, though, is where you are playing with a real time strategy focus, army against army, and when you beat the enemy, only the pieces that survive are still there, but they gain experience and extra skills. Big learning curve, but very engaging.

Dungeon and Dragons Tactics - Not out yet. This title exclusive to the PSP looks to one of the most promising games for the console. 8 races, 13+ classes, preset and fully customizable party of 6 characters. The gamplay looks more intensive than ANY final fantasy game coming out, and I love the darker edge on the music. If this has a solid storyline, I will certainly get this.
