Well see, doing that is kinda hard...
phpBB is free...IPB and vB are not...
If we could get an IPB then awesome, our issues are solved...But last I looked, that shit was like... $160...And unless we get a massive rush of donations, I'm sure that's not going to happen no time soon...
phpBB is ideal, because it ultimately has more options than any other BB software that exists, and everything except maybe a skin is free...If we could get a version of phpBB that was solid at the core, and didn't have to hack it to death, we would definitely go there and stay, or in an ideal situation, we could get an IPB license and be done with it...
