2007-2008 NFL Discussion Thread

:disappoint:

I really put off starting this topic for as long as I could...I mean, I already am disenchanted with the NFL to the point where I didn't watch many games last year...I'm so close to the TV on Saturday mornings you could butter your popcorn w/one my cataracts...But on Sunday..? Unless the dude Reggie Bush is playing, I'm pretty uninterested...

For every feel good story that comes on, we hear about ANOTHER dumb fucking move by some NFL player...Weed...Dog fighting...What the fuck man...

True..but thats life. These guys are still human and do a lot of what "average" guys do. Its always exciting to turn on the football game every Sunday/Monday. I cannot wait till that time rolls around.

Did you also know that Pacman Jones plays for...TNA wrestling now lol

Didnt PacMan just anounce he wasnt gonna do anyhting with TNA till his legal issues are resolved or am I confusing him with another National Flee fromthe Law player??

Glad none of my Colts are getting into trouble (Dominic Rhoads doesnt count he signed with OAK then got arrested for doing 85 in a 35 AND DUI or something to that effect)

I'll still tune in specially since my Colts are the Defending Superbowl Champs (and Dungy is a #1 book seller- good book, too) but I rarely watch other games since the NFL has quickly lost its appeal

I mainly watch MLB (Cubs and Tribe fan), and anything college (specially Basketball and Football) or sports with women in skimpy, tigh hugging clothing (track and field, volleyball, tennis)

Just got done watching the Cardinals and the 49ers...

Great game, but if someone can tell me why if you play EXCELLENT defense for the first 58 minutes of the game, why on God's green do you go to a prevent with the game on the line..? I mean, I totally felt bad double time for my fantasy starter Matt Leinhart cause he worked his ass off to get the lead, only to see his defense give the game up on the last drive...

Gotta hate that, Arizona is one of the teams I pull for, but they loose a ton of games just like this...

OK...

You guys can have Joe Montana...Troy Aikman...Brett Favre...Warren Moon...Peyton Manning...Randall Cunningham...And gasp, The great Dan Marino...I don't care...

I'm taking Tom 'Ice Water' Brady...I consider myself a Quarterback in a runningback's body, and watching Brady play absolutely gives me a hardon...You have to wonder that when he makes a mistake if it was somebody's else's fuck up that shows up on his stat sheet...Unbelieveable poise, decision making, and precision...He's definitely the guy, if any, that you want fucking your sister...

I mean, think of it...I'm not taking ANYTHING away from Peyton...I think he's fucking awesome...But you get the idea that Brady is the QB that can do anything you want done...He's handing off to guys that aren't stars...And before Randy Moss, he was throwing to guys that weren't about to go to another team and put up similar numbers...Anybody heard from Deion Branch lately..?

Tom Brady makes everyone around him look better than they are...Mike Vrabel, a linebacker has more touchdowns receiving than he does interceptions, period...
