I don't know how many of you have been paying attention, but our women's team just got kicked out of the World Cup...
Apparently, the coach decided to go with a goalie that had performed well in previous matches against an opponent, which in this case is Brasil...
Maybe good in theory, UNLESS, the goalie that got you to the point where you are now hasn't allowed a goal...Period...
I'm not too familiar with sports that use goalies...But it does seem like a bonehead ass move, even prior too...OK, so if your girl is getting thrashed in the first half, maybe go with the other goalie in the second...But maybe that's not feasible...
Many are calling it the worst coaching move ever...I can't think of anything worse, and any other sport I try to substitute in its place it gets even dumber...I take out a player average 25 points a game in game 3 of the finals cause Johnny Whasiname scored 28 points per game in game 3 2 years ago..?
Wow...Poor girls...
