The Throne-room of God

A school of music that studies the rhythm of nature, a school of fashion that studies the elegance of the Universe, a school of design that studies the architecture of the ancients, a school of philosophy that studies the time-tested Truth.

The History of Heaven:

Part 1: The Throne-Room of God

While the Hebrews were captive in Babylon, they were witnesses to the ancient and impressive Sumerian Ziggurats; large seven-tiered terraces signifying Heaven, with the highest temple tower on the top. The captives arrived shortly in Babylon after the construction of the †™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬†™¢¢¬‚¦‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦¢‚¬Å“Ete-Mankanki,†™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬? a huge Tower called the †™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬†™¢¢¬‚¦‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦¢‚¬Å“House of the Creator of Heaven and Earth,†™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬? but this temple is more popular than its name. It is known by the name it was given by the Caananites Beth-ha Ba-bel - The Temple of Babel. It is here, in Babylon, they were introduced to an idea of God†™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¾¢‚¬Å¡‚¢s Throne, which was in a special temple at the top of Ete-Mankanki. This visually empty seat was in a unoccupied room, reserved for the presence of the †™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬†™¢¢¬‚¦‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦¢‚¬Å“Unseen Unborn Lord of Creation.†™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬? The Persians believed that an Omniscient God was seated on a throne, surrounded by winged beings. This cultural influence was a strong influence on the Babylonians and the Sumerians who named this being †™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬†™¢¢¬‚¦‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦¢‚¬Å“Ellh†™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¾¢‚¬Å¡‚¢u†™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬? The Shining Ones, who manifests in his El, or †™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬†™¢¢¬‚¦‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦¢‚¬Å“Brightness.†™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬? This is the name of God, to the Hebrews. Elohim is the Hebrew word for Ellhu, both of which are plural words for a singular being; revealing the multiplicity of God. These Winged beasts with crowns and fire and heads that often did not match their bodies became manifested as statues that manned the doorway of the Throne-room. The statues were called Ka-rib†™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¾¢‚¬Å¡‚¢u, or singularly ka-rib. This is the origin of the word Kerub or Cherub, the name for the Angels that adorned the Temple of Solomon, guarding the room where the Ark of the Covenant was kept, in front of a seat reserved for Elohim. These beastlike creatures were often depicted in the form of combinations of lions, men, eagles, serpents and bulls. This is a fundamental element of all the Biblical visions of Heaven in the Bible. Ellh†™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¾¢‚¬Å¡‚¢u enthroned with his Ka-rib†™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¾¢‚¬Å¡‚¢u about his throne predate Elohim with his Kerubim by over 1,000 years.

We have got to get some heads together, so that we can get these chat sessions going...For now, the chatroom on the group is all that we have, but it was made mention to me that we can have free use on another site, I will check to see if the chatroom is available and full featured, and we can get a time together for interested heads...

Which is turning out to be the hardest thing of all...RAUM, we may also need to consider a structure of posting that will allow us to the the same thing, as real time chatting may not be feasible for everyone until there are some gaps in schedules...

thanks from bringing this back up from the vaults.

notice this part: "revealing the multiplicity of God". kinda makes a bridge towards other religions having more than one god.

I totally believe that there are other beings that are capable of walking along side God...In fact, I think that it makes more sense to have Zeus, Hera, and the rest of the crew, than a single all powerful God...As a note, I do not think that God and the Lord of the Universe are one in the same...

really Ty? what makes you say that?
"If there were no eternal consciousness in a man, if at the bottom of everything there were only a wild ferment, a power that twisting in dark passions produced everything great or inconsequential; if an unfathomable insatiable emptiness lay hid beneath everything, what would life be but despair?"

Soren Kierkegaard

I know I'm retarded with all this stuff, but I've always wondered, "What if all of the major religions (barring crap like the psycho lady that was on TV saying thank god for dead soldiers) were all right? What if all those different beliefs were right?" Just a little thought I've always had.
