Hmm, if you have to ask, I'm not sure how to explain ranking..!
But basically, all it means to show is whose teams are considered strongest, so that you can have the factor of upsets added...It will also help with scheduling and so forth...If team 4ever scores a win over Jetstream, its another match, but if #12 ranked Jetstream Supreme scores an upset win over #2 ranked 4ever, it beecomes a bigger deal..!
It's just to give guys an idea about where they are in terms of the league a bit, just in case they want to tinker w/their squads more, make trades, or challenge other users before the start of the season...
