At least three of my friends who are black cited this as "proof" McCain and Republican Racism. He claims it was a "joke", but frankly I think this was counter-propaganda being that he uploaded it to pleasegodno.org, which is a site full of satire and rude humor. Unfortunately, this "joke" by a democrat was taken as a serious message of Republican origin and further poalarizing race as an issue in this election.By MICHELLE DeARMOND

An online satirist is claiming he created "Obama Bucks," a widely circulated phony food stamp featuring a picture of the Democrat surrounded by fried chicken, watermelon and ribs, as a way to poke fun at "right-wingers" and support the presidential candidate.
In an interview with The Press-Enterprise, the anonymous blogger said he's actually an active Democrat in Minnesota and never intended the cartoon to be taken as a slight to Obama, whom the blogger said he supports.
That's a damn shame. Many good black people I know are planning to vote for Obama and McCain. And many whites, asians, and others... including my own racial identity.
I also believe more of this will come out on both sides, as fringe voters on both sides are revealed for beign the wingnuts and attention whores they are.
