Re: Friday The 13th 2009
Fuck naw! The guy who directed this is responsible for that wackass Pathfinder & that godawful remake of Texas Chainsaw Massacre a few years back & some Spice Girls music vids. Scorsese he's not. I'll pass.
Outside of Stephen King's The Mist & The Descent, can anyone actually tell me the name of one slammin' American horror movie from the last decade? One that actually has the horror element in it? All the good stuff of that genre is coming out of Asia (Ringu, The Eye etc) ,Europe (Les Revenants) & even Russia (Night Watch series)these days.

I think I gave up on Jason movies around the the 26th sequel. Can't really say there's much originality in the whole premise anymore. But I'm not too objective, I don't dig horror movies anyhoo. I get too ascared.

Is there a distinct difference between Hell's Pizza Hut and Earth's Pizza Hut?

It all began & ended with the very original for me. I see the rest as hilarious spoofs.

The rest are fan service - hence my rediculous assessment.

Well, I'll just say, the only reason that I'm giving it any real thought is that even though I had my apprehensions, I actually liked Halloween 2007...If this is the same kind of deal, I'm willing to give it a shot...
But my kid is STOKED...He loves horror shit...
