Dream...

A school of music that studies the rhythm of nature, a school of fashion that studies the elegance of the Universe, a school of design that studies the architecture of the ancients, a school of philosophy that studies the time-tested Truth.

Dream...

Do the dreams we remember really give us some insight to tomorrow or give us more insight about our selves? (Raum lets go)

Dreams are different for everyone. Some dreams are insight for you...signs from God. Other dreams are just factors of what is going on in your head at the time you fall asleep.

Some dreams give insight into tomorrow, but not all of them

It is my personal belief that dreams are our minds attempts to be free from the limited consciousness that we call reality...In our discussion of other dimensions, those conscious of the dimension beyond the 3rd are beyond physical limitations, and can only be experienced by harnessing the essence of us (our "light" body) and gaining control of what it is our minds were made for...

This is the sole reason that I think that, is because it is a known fact that we use nowhere near the full capacity of our brains...There are a million things that go on in our bodies that we don't even think about, and the brain controls them all...(And to think that there are some that don't believe in intelligent design)...I think that through intense and steady meditation we can learn to harness the energy that is our soul, so to speak, and be a part of the dimensions above...

I think that dreams are manifestations of that ability...

wow AYHJA...that's deep.

That makes since, but I don't think that all dreams mean that we are trying to escape this reality. Some of it is just from what we are thinking about before we fall asleep.

I'm not going against what you're saying because that's true for some dreams but I don't think it's true for all dreams.

I agree that our dreams are our way of doing what we could only wish to do in real life. It's a way to have everything we want!

Most people don't remember their dreams. Everyone dreams, but they are so quick that most don't remember them. If you didn't dream, you'd go insane (at least I think that's what I heard)

Well, and if you do remember than its usually only one of your dreams. We have several dreams a night!!! Why does one stand out more than others?

I don't know why. It has something to do with your brainwaves but I don't even think the doctors know exactally why we dream and why we only remember some of them. I'll do some research on this and get back to everyone.
