Director: Chris Nahon
Cast: Gianna Jun, Koyuki, Michael Byrne, Colin Salmon, Allison Miller
Synopsis: Blood: The Last Vampire brings to life an English language live-action feature movie of the original Japanese anime feature film. Gianna (My Sassy Girl, Daisy) stars in the film as Saya, a 400-year-old demon-hunting vampire slayer working undercover in Japan for a secret organization, on a mission in the Vietnam War era.

I could've sworn I saw someone else start a thread about this here... but it's not. So, here's this new film adapted from Japanese fame for western productions. (I was originally looking for Allison Miller pics :p )

To be honest, it doesn't look to be very compelling at all in this rendition. What's weird is I actually have the tiniest bit of knowledge about this film. It was just very recently that a few months ago, I was flipping through the channels, walked off for a bit, and then started this anime flick late night on the Sci-Fi channel. It was the original anime film of what is going to premiere this summer. :laff:

What do you think? Are you interested in a Wapanese schoolgirl impersonating Blade? I might catch it on rental, if only because it has Allison Miller, as she's my newest celeb squeeze. She needs as much exposure as she can get since her syndication of KINGS is being flushed. :disappoint:

I don't even know about rental, I think I'll just DL it...There was another movie posted here, can't recall the name of it, where a girl was running around fighting with one arm...It was interesting to say the least...
