The art of Levitation?

A school of music that studies the rhythm of nature, a school of fashion that studies the elegance of the Universe, a school of design that studies the architecture of the ancients, a school of philosophy that studies the time-tested Truth.

The art of Levitation?

#1

Post by Gaara-San »

Could levitation actually be real? One of my internet buddies (he seemed pretty credible and he loved spiritual stuff) claimed that one of his meditation teachers actuall levitated in the air. Just a few inches. In the lotus position. So, does anyone know about levitation. I know most of it can just be an illusuion, but could it be real?

It seems pretty wierd to me but I've never seen it happen. I'll do what Deeje is and what for others
"If there were no eternal consciousness in a man, if at the bottom of everything there were only a wild ferment, a power that twisting in dark passions produced everything great or inconsequential; if an unfathomable insatiable emptiness lay hid beneath everything, what would life be but despair?"

I totally believe in David Blaine! He rocks and the way he does it is completely believable.

He does the Balduci Levitation. It's just an illusion. I've fooled many with it. :acdc:

Good call, Gaara, I peeped that stunt and the Balducci method explained. I, for one, still dig magic even after finding out how it was all done.
The deal with Blaine's stunt was that he also went ahead and used wires, the "street Magic" set was done in more than one take. Still looked good tho, guess that's the point.
But I can tell this audience is waiting for a real discussion on the REAL act of levitation. I've never tried it, at least not since I was like 13, so I have nothing of any importance to add to this topic. Do I think it can be achieved?, yeah sure. Can't seem to grasp the physics of it. I did peep a VERY long and involved explanation regarding "Yogic flying" and its basis in Quantum physics. I fell in a trance just tryin to follow it.
Dude, of course she's gonna dig it...your mom loves the cock

i for one have never been able to get consistent results with attempting this, nor have I found a single person who is commited or advertising to attempt consistent results.

My mentor said, of this topic, "It happens to us all. Just don't embarrass yourself, or our True Purpose."

I also know, that if you break a Law of Physics, it tends to try to break something of yours...

Man, I've never seen anyone do this at all. How do you do it?
"If there were no eternal consciousness in a man, if at the bottom of everything there were only a wild ferment, a power that twisting in dark passions produced everything great or inconsequential; if an unfathomable insatiable emptiness lay hid beneath everything, what would life be but despair?"

I'd rather not embarrass myself or the
True Purpose for all the work I do, and tell accounts of specific phenomenon...or make it seem like I can do "guru flying," or what ever.

Let's say, I have personal reasons to believe levitation is possible and actual, but I have no reason to believe I can levitate myself or any other physical object deliberately, or without a specific reason to do so.
