[Tutorial] Video Screen Shots

Post by AYHJA »

Posting vid caps is mandatory for posting clips on the forum...That's the bad news, the good news is that its easy as pie to make them...

1. The first and only thing you'll need is Media Player Classic...It's a lightweight, free, uber program you can use to play any kind of video: avi, mpg, flv, quicktime, you name it...

Get It: http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Med ... lassic.htm
Current Version: Classic 6.4.9.1

Here it is...Open the video w/MPC...
  • Click 'File'
  • Scroll down to "Save Thumbnails"
Image

As you can see, there are a couple of options for rows and columns, you can set them to your desire...Obviously, the more rows and columns you specify, the more caps will be taken...One you name the file and click save, the program will create you an image with your cap, which you can upload to the host of your choice...

Hope this helps..!

How do you make vid caps in Linux?
Nudes are played out.
Send me a video of you reading out loud so I know you are not dumb and your profile picture is actually you.
