Out Of Business

Well, I'm not sure if its the economy or not, though I'm sure it has something to do with it, but I've noticed several CD and video stores closing their doors...

My best guess is that the internet is the root of it...Both legally and illegally...

And I'm not talking about Mom and Pop, they closed long ago...I'm talking about national stores like Sam Goody and FYE...It was clear to me a long time ago that the internet would change how things are done, but I didn't know it'd happen this fast, and now, I'm not even sure what will come of it...Computers are cheap, wi-fi is everywhere, and everyone is hurting...I am getting things offline for $2 that cost $30 in stores...I was able to get a rubber case, clear screen protectors, a home charger, and a house charger for my cell, and only paid $12 bucks...And that was with shipping...

Any of you economic analysts or history buffs want to take shot at this, make some predictions..? Or, have any of you other guys noticed a chain of stores or a series of businesses closing their doors lately..?

Those places still exist...on the internet. Go to Amazon.com and you'll find plenty of sub-companies selling CD/DVD/BluRay/etc through them for usually a much cheaper price. Then there's Ebay as well where people can sell quite easily.
If any links are down, please send me a PM!
