Top-ranked TEXAS defeats Iowa State, 90-83
Bradley scored 16 points in the second half and seems ready to play a much larger role for the loaded Longhorns. Look what he did in their first win as a top-ranked team on Wednesday night against an in-conference oponent. Bradley scored 24 points, including 16 in the second half.
Damion James added 23 points and 14 rebounds for the unbeaten Longhorns (16-0, 2-0), who opened the second half with a 16-4 run and never trailed again.
"I just feel like I'm getting more comfortable playing with my teammates. I'm just learning the game in college," Bradley said. "It's more my teammates trusting me and believing in me and them getting me the ball when I'm open. And when they did, I just made the shot." Over and over again.

Of the teams listed there, I like 'cuse and 'nova the best because their conference is SO much better than the Big 12, SEC, and Big 10.
I'm always rootin for my Dukies first tho.
We'll of course have to see come tournament time, but I don't really expect Texas, Kansas, or Kentucky to be thoroughly tested in their conferences.
And speaking of shitty conferences, what the hell happened to the Pac 10? First time in poll history they haven't had at least one team ranked....they suck this year lol. Arizona and UCLA are having big time off years apparently.

It's way too early for an I-told-you-so type comment, because its highly likely it isn't even true....but man...Kentucky and Texas slippin a little bit. All that young talent really needs to be tested before the tourney if they're gonna win it all, and you better believe teams they'll face near the end are better than K-State and SC.
BIg East all the way.

Losing games helps you win games...I'd rather loose now, than loose in March Homez...

Maybe - but seems the horns have made it a habbit... from number one to unranked in what... 6 weeks? It has been a long season...Über wrote:Losing games helps you win games...I'd rather loose now, than loose in March Homez...
On a different note.... I can't believe March is here.... and I am sooooo looking forward to a little madness....

I told ya so
Top tier Big East teams > Texas particularly this year.
I'm really looking forward to march, as always.
One thing of note that seems like it would be receiving more coverage is just how god-awful UNC has been this season.
Now I've always thought Roy Williams gets more credit as a coach than he really deserves...and I know they just won last season and lost some talent (but not nearly as much as they lost after their last championship) and have just looked plain awful, like...bottom of the ACC...at times this season, and that's saying something considering how badly the ACC is doing in general this year.
It's going to make for an interesting tourney with a diluted ACC and a downright shitty Pac 10.
