I think for a lot of them, they either don't have places to go or can't afford to go there. Shit, if people can't afford to eat and provide for themselves in Haiti, you think they can do it in Miami?! It is sad how often that place gets ravaged though.

I don't know. But if I lived in a place that had natural disasters all year round I'd find another place to live no matter what.

And I'm sure a lot of people living there feel that same way, it's just much easier said than done for people facing that level of poverty. I haven't kept up with the story as well as I should have, but where are they taking the refugees right now?
