right.....
"If there were no eternal consciousness in a man, if at the bottom of everything there were only a wild ferment, a power that twisting in dark passions produced everything great or inconsequential; if an unfathomable insatiable emptiness lay hid beneath everything, what would life be but despair?"

Soren Kierkegaard

How many in here really, honestly think they could survive if civilisation ended?

I'm pretty sure I could. I can hunt, fish, trap. I can build a shelter, be it a lean-to to a full blown house. I can start a fire without matches.

I'll grant you, I'd be pretty miserable without my computer and cell phone, but I can live without them. I thank God for my father and grandfather for showing me how to live off the land.

I am a country boy posing as a webmaster too M8...I grew up eating food we helped my grandfather grow in his field...Good old days picking and shelling peas, cucumbers, WATERMELON, etc...All seemd like the shit thing to do back then, but in retrospect, I'm glad that I did...

Man, life without my PC though..?? Fuck, man, I'd be sick...But, I'd find comfort in knowing that nobody else had shit, and I'd go about my business...I'd hone my hunting skillz and feed my peeps...I have eaten almost ever critter imaginable, cept Possum...
