Best security suite?

F-Secure Internet Security 2012
or
Kaspersky Internet Security 2012

How will they affect the performance of a Win 7 pc?

If you are going to pay? ESET NOD32. http://www.eset.com/us/home/products/antivirus/

Since I am cheap I wanted free and the best that I've found is Microsoft Security Essentials. I've had it since it came out 2 years ago and I haven't had a single infection. http://www.microsoft.com/security/pc-security/mse.aspx
If any links are down, please send me a PM!

Good question...Given the choice of the two, I'd say Kaspersky...I had them before, and the only real knock I had for it was that it had a complex interface. They've probably fixed that though...

If asking in general, I think I echo what j suggests...If you have to pay, eset, if you're not ignorant about PC's and the internet in general, MSE should do fine...
