Who is the one director whose movies you always pay to see?

Tim Burton...
Love the way he does films...He is one of the few directors I know by name...If he does it, I usually dig it...His shit is unique, and that's hard to do for a director I think...Other directors you hear about before hand, and because of notariety, you peep...But if you see a film, you know whether or not Burton did it...No name need not be dropped...

Burton's cool. Ed Wood is my favorite of his. I like David Lynch and David Cronenberg. Similar to Burton in that they have their own style, but they make movies that make you think.

Martin Scorsese: Taxi Driver, Goodfellas, Casino, Last Temptation Of Christ, Gangs Of New York...
The Cohen Brothers: who make comedy out of some dark situations:
Barton Fink, Fargo, The Man Who Wasn't There
Tarantino yeah, you all know him, don't even front
Spike Jonze: mostly videos, hell of a job at it, but he also directed Being John Malkovich.
David Fincher: Just for Se7en and Fight Club alone.
Michel Gondry: Just for that White Stripes "lego"video...and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
There's a few other Latin American directors you might not give a shit about.
