Good software sites?

#1

Post by shin_dr »

Filehippo has changed stuff around, so I'm looking for some more alternatives. I do use Majorgeeks and every once in a while Snapfiles. I don't think Shinobi Resources has been updated in a long time; that actually introduced me to using Firefox and a couple other things. And every once in a while I'll look around Sourceforge.

I don't actually look for software much any more, but I used to depend on this place for suggestions. Especially since I'm always needing to do something specific...The web has opened up so much though since we first started this place, it almost makes having a site like this seem like actually going to the library to get a book...

Well for me it's more minimizing hassle. the site I normally use seems to be moving more towards ads and bundleware, which I try to avoid.
