Anyone see the new Charlie and the Chocolate Factory?

I just got the Gene Wilder version on dvd for $10.00 at Target today. I'm a little creeped out about Johnny Depp's Wonka.

I saw it and liked it. I only wish I would have smoked before hand, that's the kind of movie you need to see lifted.

Yea...I heard it's pretty bad and boring.
"If there were no eternal consciousness in a man, if at the bottom of everything there were only a wild ferment, a power that twisting in dark passions produced everything great or inconsequential; if an unfathomable insatiable emptiness lay hid beneath everything, what would life be but despair?"

Soren Kierkegaard

That's just tragic if they can make the ultimate chocolate fantasy boring. I haven't seen it yet, but if it really is I'll be quite depressed...

I haven't seen it but mrs bd55 wants to, so I might take her this week. I have to say that the films from Tim Burton I've seen are quite ok, so I expect it to be reasonably good.

Burton is a great talent, and I have enjoyed most, if not all of his films...I might check it out, but I REALLY want to see Dukes of Hazzard..

I have a feeling that's because of Jessica Simpson...And if it isn't, download the "These Boots" video and it soon will be.
