I'll kick this discussion off with some questions.

Who you got in the super bowl this year?

Who's your sleeper?

Who will be the best offensive rookie this season?

I am never good at making NFL predictions...I got too many loyalties...And on top of that, so much shit goes on during the regular season...Injuries, suprises, upsets...Shit...

First thing, I see no reason not to think that the Patriots won't be back in the Superbowl...As fond of the Steelers as I am, unless somebody starts kicking their asses, they will be the team to beat...They didn't even have all their guys last year, key guys at that, and still won the shit...So...Pats...

** Steelers please forgive..! **

The NFC is a toss up...

If we can find a top notch reciever, I pick the Falcons...The D-V-D combo is going to be hard as fuck to stop, add the threat of a legitimate reciever, and that shit is plain scary...There were at least 4 recievers that had totals that were close to the ENTIRE crop of Falcons recievers, and they still made it to the title game...They sign a burner, and it's 4:30...

My sleeper...

Ken Dorsey...I say Alex Smith continues to stink up the place, they put Rattay in, he gets hurt again, and they give Dorsey a shot...The kid is a winner, I see him getting into the right system and doing just like Tom Brady did...That might not be in S.F. but I believe in the kid...

Offensive rookie of the year...

I'm gonna go with a back, maybe Cadillac, but there are some recievers that might have some great games this year, and if Detroit can find a QB to chunk the shit, that reciever core is VERY scary...

Jets vs Redskins.

sleeper....the bears got a helluva program going on...yall see Orton throw the ball, just great man.

Offensive rookie....

I'm gonna go with Kyle Orton. If the Bears recievers can put some "stick-um" on....that man is delievering the damn rock.

Vikings vs Ravens?!

Lions need a QB.

Troy Williamson is like....4th in the depth chart, behind nate burelson, marcus robinson, and i cant remember hte other guys name.

4th stringer aint cutting it for ROY.

That might be the case if he were a 4th string running back, but the #3 receiver is gonna be on the field as much as the starters practically (especially in the Vikings offense). Lion's don't need a Dan Marino. They just need a Trent Dilfer, and Garcia(who by the way will have this job no later than week 2) is good enough to simply not lose with the trio of wideouts and Jones in backfield. As far as the Bears, they might have had a chance with Grossman but I remember Orton folding under the pressure in the Big 10, so unfortunately I think he's due for an 'Eli Manning' type wakeup call in the pros. They don't give Rookie of the Year to QBs unless they have a 'Rothlisberger' type record. I like the Redskins and I hope you're right, but Mark Brunnell is more washed up than Terry Bradshaw /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> . The day Daniel Snyder stops overpaying has beens and spreads his $$ around wisely is the day the Redskins will be back in the Superbowl. Until then they'll continue to be Philly's whipping boy in the East.

Whoops...I forgot that I'm a couple years into my franchise with the 'Skins, where Jason Campbell's already progressed into the starting job.

Campbell's gonna have a good career. I think the Packers are seriously gonna regret passing on him.

I like MacPhearson better than Campbell.....but they'll both be good....neither as good as Kyle Orton though!!!

Aight....I think maybe Colts against the Falcons. That's my realistic pick. My sleeper team is the Cardinals.
"If there were no eternal consciousness in a man, if at the bottom of everything there were only a wild ferment, a power that twisting in dark passions produced everything great or inconsequential; if an unfathomable insatiable emptiness lay hid beneath everything, what would life be but despair?"
