The new CD by Kanye West is amazing! There are more actual songs on there than the last album which is good. I'd give it 4.5 stars out of 5
"If there were no eternal consciousness in a man, if at the bottom of everything there were only a wild ferment, a power that twisting in dark passions produced everything great or inconsequential; if an unfathomable insatiable emptiness lay hid beneath everything, what would life be but despair?"

Yo Aemeth...why the hate?

Yeah...after buying Common's CD by accident (lol long story) and finding out that Kanye wrote all his songs...I immediately gained tons of respect for him. I'm definitely going to buy his cd when I get paid again....I LOVE "Gold Digger" ...so let me go ahead and take my foot outta my mouth about Kanye.....He's doing his thing.

I didn't know Kanye wrote all of Be. That really sucks now...Why did Kanye do that/Common let him? Common has been just fine b4...wtf?

I think Common wrote his rhymes...Kanye gets writing credit for composition...Least that's why my CD cover says...

Producers are often given writing credits for their beats, which is effectively a composition...So you would see "Written by Kanye West" on a song, but it only means he wrote the composition (beat) and not the lyrics, which may be credited to Common via publishing and such...
