Got this game yesterday (on Xbox), and it's much improved from last year's version...the gameplay is fluid and great, not to mention the AI has really improved making all games challenging.
I appear to be pretty good at this version as well.....in last year's version (NBA 2k5) I was ranked around 5th out of 35,000 for quite some time.
I've only played online once...and the guy quit after I took at 21-4 lead 3 minutes into the game....thats about the same as I started last year...so we'll see.
Also, I've got a trailer of what this game is gonna look like on the Xbox 360 (the next generation of gaming, coming out it around dec..)

The fight between xbox and ps3 will be pretty intense this time around, but I am beginning to think that Sony tried to bite off more than it could chew, and xbox will kick ass...
That trailer looked good man, really good...Not good enough to intice me to buy an xBox, but still pretty good...
