I love the Lakers and the Knicks
But this year i'll try to follow Atlanta (i know they're not gonna make it but they have an uruguayan) He may get more minutes of playing than every one thought check the numbers of his debut performance

I think LG is purposely avoiding this thread, cause he talked so much big shit about how the Knicks were going to suck...And now, one of his Chicago Bulls is averaging 17 ppg in a Knick uniform, and oddly, he is nowhere to be found...

hell yea..i'm in.

The year is gonna be great for basketball. I'm liking the Spurs and the Heat but we'll see....

No, I just haven't been on the site in a while.....

Why would I aviod a thread?

The Knicks will not make the playoffs...and the Knicks will not have a 10-game turnaround....I stick by my words.

I'd have to agree with LG on this one. I'm not seeing it for the Knicks this year. Next year they are gonna be awesome, but they're still a year out

I'm a big Pacers fan, and you know this is going to be their year. Artest is all jacked up to play like a man possessed (heck, he may actually BE possessed!), and JO is going to have an MVP season. The addition of Sarunas whatever-his-name-is from Lithuania is a huge plus; Tinsley is very talented, but Sarunas is gritty and won't take anybody's shit. He's got a Jordan-like mentality in that regard (probably why Larry Bird likes him so much).

Miami's not going to get it done - again. We see what Gary Payton has brought to the table over the last two years in his mercenary-like attempt to win a title: not much. Why did Boston have him on the bench so much against the Pacers in the playoffs last year? Cause he's old and washed up!

GO PACERS!

Did you all see the new NBA dress code for players? It makes sense - they're tired of these guys looking like thugs while they're sitting injured on the bench. The funny thing is that Marcus Camby is complaining now that he needs a clothing stipend as part of his contract! Apparently his $65 million contract isn't quite enough to cover the cost of a few suits....
