Cue Evil tyranny in 3,. 2,..

Why should we worry that Iran has nukes, just because today their leader said, and I quote:

"Anybody who recognizes Israel will burn in the fire of the Islamic nation's fury."

(according to the translation of Iran state-run television.)

ALSO

Referring to Palestinian suicide bomb attacks in Israel, Ahmadinejad said: "there is no doubt that the new wave in Palestine will soon wipe off this disgraceful blot from the face of the Islamic world."

And the best they offer in apology is:

Ebrahim Yazdi, a former Iranian foreign minister, said Ahmadinejad's remarks harmed Iran. "Such comments provoke the international community against us. It's not to Iran's interests at all. It's harmful to Iran to make such a statement," he said.

What about the harm it would do to Israel??? idiot.

Oh, but their nuclear research is just for energy sources, you say. It has nothing to do with the fact that

Iran announced earlier this year that it had fully developed solid fuel technology for missiles, a major breakthrough that increases their accuracy. The Shahab-3, with a range of 810 miles to more than 1,200 miles, is capable of delivering a nuclear warhead to Israel and U.S. forces in the Middle East.

damn...

Let's just give them freedom before they make more nukes...

I just read the article about this guys comments on CNN. He is diggin himself into a whole that he won't be able to get out of.

You know, when you make these types of comments, how do you honestly expect to convince people that your nuclear program is for "peaceful purposes" only?

Wow... Ahmadinejad must be kicking himself in the ass now... lets count the countries against him. lol

Israel, obviously, France, Britian, United States, Canada, Spain, Germany, Italy...

Now lets count the countries who are with Iran... ... oh, that's right, no other government is actually dumb enough to call for the destruction of a country.

just take note of the SCO, and see where they might (MIGHT) pull support from,.. but mainly the SCO is to oppose the dominance of the US and its allies. so, you know china and russia are there, and Iran is a card carrying member, as they charge up to become a power like that of NATO with an Asian locale.

not good now that eastern europe is starting to take interest. last time they called themself the AXIS. donchaknow?

Well, you were right about Russia. The Iranian embassy in Moscow is trying to say Ahmadinejad didn't mean what he said...

""It's absolutely clear that, in his remarks, Mr. Ahmadinejad, president of the Islamic Republic of Iran, underlined the key position of Iran, based on the necessity to hold free elections on the occupied territories," Reuters quoted the embassy statement as saying."

Bullshit.
