We all know about the sportscenter curse.....

what about the curse of the avatar.....today, shortly after the new av I got.......I was fired from my job.


The details reflect favoritism upon the oppsite side...and really demonstrate my wrongful termination.

Maybe things happen for a reason, because my friend works at Walmart...and I can hopefully get a cashier's job for almost a dollar more an hour than my shift supervisor position at subway.....and plus, the only reason I didnt already quit that crappy job, was because I loved the people, but once this new manager came in...she started hiring all these crappy people....so it was going down the tubes there anyway.

I'm sorry to hear you lost your job. But it's been my experience that there's something out there that's even better. It's good that you have an "in" with Walmart. I hope your friend can help you get in there.

Yeah, I was just thinking about that....how can they afford to pay sooo many employees all more than minimum wage? They I remember they're one of the wealthiest retail corporations in the world.


The fact of the matter is...subway had 4 main compotents.....dishes...cleaning....making sandwichs....register/customer interaction


I was good at all...but my favorite part of the job was the register/customer interaction......so now if I get this job at Wal-Mart (which I'm going to go fill out an application with my friend today in less than an hour) it's completely eliminating the other 3...crappier parts of the job...and paying me almost a dollar more an hour.......what kind of deal is that man ?

I did get a promotion from the owner......but its the manager who had a grudge with me because I was the only employee who was willing to tell her to get off her ass and do the work like the rest of us..and also because i graded the notes she used to post to us because they always were FILLED with spelling errors....


so maybe I had it coming...


but the ACTUAL reason I got fired was bullshit...and the owner is looking into it now and is gonna call me tomorrow
